This illustration was made for a digital arts class assignment. I wanted to have fun and go all out with the details, which I did.
This illustration highlights a character, Fusa, and her cat, Nike. They fight monsters as a team. For this drawing, I wanted them to be on the lookout for a monster of mysterious origin. Is the arcade the monster, is the tail a part of the monster, or is the monster the building itself?
Here is the line art for the illustration. The perspective was a lot of fun to play with.
This is the sketch I used for the line art. It’s fun to see what elements changed from the original illustration. The arcade machine in the back didn’t originally have an eye, nor did the ceiling.
