Seven is a character I created who is a monster hunter who fights with glass blades. Her ability to harden materials is only possible with extreme focus. She is a person who likes to challenge herself and push her limits.
This is the thumbnail I used to create the illustration. I wanted strong lighting and foreground elements to frame the eye and character.
This is the reference sheet for Larique Vibol, otherwise known as “Seven”. She received her nickname for being able to take down her average opponent in seven seconds or less. She strives to be called “One” someday.
Her design was based on the Scissortail Rasbora and a Glasswing Butterfly. I wanted to experiment with transparency in her design.
