Eclipse

This drawing was largely experimental. I wanted to try out messy lineart, which is something I’d seen other artists doing. I wanted this piece to portray more energy to support the movement of the pose and the character, also. Eclipse is a messy character who doesn’t actually know how to play the guitar.
I knew the perspective that I wanted to achieve. I also wanted the pose to be strong and look like the character is strumming the guitar. I used references to get some ideas for the pose and the angle of the guitar.
